Adidas has just launched a new pair of headphones called RPT-02 SOL that can charge using both natural and artificial light. The headphones are made for active wear and can resist sweat and splashes. They are also eco-friendly because they are made from 87% recycled plastic.
The headphones were created in collaboration with a company called Exeger, which invented a special material that can turn light into energy. This material is called PowerfoyleTM and allows the headphones to charge without needing cables.
Anders Olsson, who works at Zound Industries, said that it’s important to keep innovating new technology that can help athletes perform better. The headphones cost $230 USD and are now available at adidasheadphones.com.
