The Weeknd is one of the world’s most influential musicians at only 31 years old, and his career keeps soaring higher. The latest achievement was the RIAA platinum certification of his 2015 breakthrough album “Beauty Behind the Madness”.
This new certification is The Weeknd’s 45th in total, putting him in the exclusive group of just 160 artists who have done this. The hits that helped him get these certifications include “Starboy,” “The Hills,” and “Blinding Lights.”
